I write in and about Go.

I have watched the slow and steady evolution of Go since Go 10 in 2011. I created a Go blog in 2016, and an online Go course in 2018. Since these days, I write Go code and texts about Go code.

No topic is difficult anymore once it is explained well. With this motto in mind, I strive to find straightforward and intuitive ways of explaining seemingly complex things, including perceptrons or balancing binary search trees.

Undoubtedly, the center of my interest is Go. However, I love to dig into new domains, too. From blockchains and NFTs to cool CMSs like Sulu or TYPO3, from Docker Init to airport transfer APIs, I sink my brain into the topic until a new article comes out.

How I can help you?

Blogging: Keep your visitors informed

Your blog will thrive with inspiring and insightful blog articles.

Just like a shop window regularly needs new decoration, a website needs new content to keep visitors returning.

I write about Go or any other IT-related topics. Whether you have an outline to be turned into an article or are starting from scratch, I can work with you to fill your blog with captivating articles.

Learning: Empower your customers

Compelling and engaging tutorials and guides turn customers into power users.

Products are never completely self-explanatory. Customers who struggle to use a product will eventually start looking for alternatives.

Onboard your customers in a gentle but effective way with tutorials and guides that leave no questions open.

Documenting: Build a source of knowledge

Clear and accurate documentation of your products or projects makes your users thrive.

Product documentation is difficult to do right. A reference isn’t great for learning how to use a product, and tutorials aren’t the right place for quickly looking up a particular feature.

Applying a tried and tested taxonomy, like the Diátaxis framework, also known as 4doc, or Hillel Waynes’s yet unnamed taxonomy for complex documentation (which I would call Tacodoc—Taxonomy for Complex Documentation) can make the difference between “meh” and “awesome”.
